Mike Leach (Texas Tech)

I'm no longer sure about this guy. Actually, there's only a few coaches I know could do the job without doubt. One thing is for sure though, it can't get any worse than it has been this year.

Couch did. Does that answer your question?

To date this (supernatural) coach who can turn 2 star QB's into super QB's has yet to produce a single QB to succeed in the NFL. I am talking about from the time he began coaching offenses to becoming head coach, not 1 If he was so special you would of thought at least 1? he is a joke, the riddler, btw since he has been at TT he has placed 7 players in the NFL while Fulmer placed 20. Grow up people he will not last 2 years and Hamilton is not going to put his job on the line and give the keys to the kingdom to him, where so many people on here think (if you want to call it that) that he can resurrect our program and recruits will be falling over eachother to come here. It doesn't work like that in the real world. The guy simply doesn't produce NFL players and the 4 and 5 star recruits go to a school and play for a coach that is known for putting players in the NFL.

Good God, we are talking college football and not the NFL.

Let me as you a question. Do you want UT to send players to the NFL or.............drum roll...beat Wyoming!! :eek:lol:

And by the way, just in case you don't know, TT does in fact have some NFL caliber talent on that team.

They have 2 wow he may have a total of 9 players in the NFL after this year. Leach cannot recruit period, even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then. As I stated earlier quality recruits go to a school and play for a coach with tradition of placing players in the NFL. Tennessee has the tradition we need to find the right coach and Leach is not it. If Leach was so good at what he does then why does the big recruits in Texas not play for him. Big time recruits want the best road to the NFL and with Leach it is a dead end.

I love seeing people trying to make a point by pointing out that Leach's turning 2-star talent into superstars is somehow a bad reflection on his coaching abilities

You are absolutely correct. :hi: Unfortunately there are those around here that refuse to acknowledge the obvious.

Funny thing is those same people who are bad mouthing will be the first ones to stand up and claim they knew he was an offensive genius all along if He gets hired....Also claim they were behind him 100% from the start...Cracks me up
