Per Brent Hubbs on Volquest, the search firm we are using has contacted Mike Leach to gauge his interest and he has an interest, to what degree I don't know.

Mike Leach should gladly be welcomed in my book. Having no rush offense???? TTU rushing this year is over 1,000 yards. Imagine what Leach could do with more talent in the SEC, dont get me wrong Crabtree and Harrell could play in the SEC, but after that ... noone else seems to shine in my eyes.

Leach is the man, I like Gruden, but he is a NFL coach not a collegiate type of guy.

I think Leach's offense mixed with Chavis' defense(assuming we keep him) would be a deadly combination for oppositions.

Word out of a Nashville radio station today said a close relative to one of the radio employees works at Tyson McGee (Knoxville) Airport said a UT chartered plane took off today for Lubbock, Texas......take it for what it's worth.

You know I have been on the Jon Gruden bandwagon with everyone else but the more I think about it I like the idea of leach. We will be able to recruit and play good defense at ut. Combine that with an offense that can score with anybody and we could be dangerous. Remember, people said urban meyer's gimicky offense wouldn't work either cause of the d and we have seen how that turned out the thing I don't think er realize is how tech actually does run the football but also uses some quick screens and different things as an extension of the running game. I think a Leach hire would be really good

Sorry to rain on the parade, but I'm not sold on Leach. Not sure he would fit in here in Tennessee. This is a more appropriate list and order..

I hope we get Mike Leach, just imagine... with that offense we would never be out of a game, we could score against anybody. Every game would be exciting. Can you say that about our team for the last 5-8 years.

About the defense, it would be ok with the kind of athletes that we routinely get, not great, just ok, but that would be all that we need with a prolific offense.

Just imagine :D
