Used to work for Chip Kelly. Didn't some math magicians do a study that if it's 4th and less than 5 you have like an 80% chance of getting the first down so Chip was just playing the odds game? Kind of off topic but I remember something like that.

It has not only took training, it’s taken copious amounts of adult beverages to get through the week as well. If we somehow manage to land Leach out of this and its a strong possibility it sounds like, his contract is not massive, and other things play into our favor. It’ll be a valiant effort by Currie to try and save his bacon. I think that ship sailed last Sunday though.

I think thats just the way ESPN made it sound when they drug Leach's name through the mud and tried to ruin his career on behalf of worthless craig james and his whiny untalented son.

ESPN is FAILING, FLOUNDERING and trying desperately to remain relevant to sports fans. They are cratering because they made a decision to "Go political" when most of their base viewers couldn't care less.
ESPN HATES our President and will use their broadcast power to destroy anyone ( like Mike Leach) who disagrees with them.

Would love this hire. Everything would get a jolt. Never a dull moment. Talk about your anti-cliche coach...this is the guy. If he signs, the defense becomes the swashbucklers and someone needs to dress up a boat for the Vol navy like a pirate ship. Give this guy some cash and get a DC and let's have some fun. Great hire.....if it comes to pass, but as we all know, there's still the grinch and crazy aunt Edna in the weeds lurking to ounce and steal our holiday joy at the behest of that dark souled scoundrel Haslam. Will believe it when I see it, but after what we've just endured, this sure as hell feels like a splash, name, home run hire to me.
