Mike Keith Is As Good As Advertised

As I said, Im not talking about that criticism of him being boring, Im talking about it being harped on bon stop for 25 years and Im more referring to the nasty nature of the criticism, such as comments about his weight.
I don't give a fiddler's damn about his weight. But of course he is gonna get non stop criticism for being boring. He chose to be Neutral Nancy. For some screwy standard of being professional. Hell he should have been advertising for vacuum cleaners. For obvious reasons. 25 years of sucking.

I thought it was good from the parts that I heard. However,, I am one of apparently seven people who did not think Kesling was bad. I think people really exaggerated when criticizing him, because of who he followed.
Completely disagree. And it had nothing to do with his enthusiasm. He was incapable of doing the basics in a footballl broadcast.

Eight. I heard the nuances of Lindsey in how George then Ward called the game. Heard Ward's naunces in how Bob called the game.

Pennington? You gotta be kidding!
Don’t think DW will accept ANY clickbait artist to appeal to the subset of fans that values snark over adult talk. No polls allowed.

That new show in lieu of coaches hour, with MK and Brent Hubbs was absolutely entertaining and informative. Proved you can handle even the Boo situation with class. I am sure it is structured, but so be it.

The show that follows with AP interviewing our linebacker coach was also great. His representation of the character element required by CJH for staff and squad was refreshing.

Not on the main channel, but the MYVLT station. Not going to miss that hour of Coach speak at all.

I didn't think any of the powers that be would ever consider Pennington. I was replying to an obvious tongue in cheek comment. Thanks for the synopsis of the new shows. I'll check them out for sure. I agree the Coach's show had become outdated and stale.

I knew that. It just gave me an opportunity to take a shot at Pennington. Still, don't know how he gets so much air time on local radio and TV to show his ignorance of the game of football.
Pennington buys TV time on WATE much like Basilio buys radio time--- that allows both of them the opportunity to say whatever they want without a filter. To their credit they both realized Tennessee Athletics is a nice money maker even though they both talk down to their audience.

The entire broadcast was fresh & enlightening. Thank God for the changes. I enjoyed listening to the pregame, which before was painful. I’ll definitely turn down the TV volume from now on & listen to Mike, Ramon, Jason & Co.

I’m really not a fan of the screamer thing. But at the same time, we’ve been completely lacking enthusiasm for a while. Don’t think we got the balance right, but it’s better than what we had before. And he’s a VFL so he’s good in my book for that reason if no other.

It was pure joy to my ears listening to him today. He is a master of his craft.

What do yall think? I'll hang up and listen.
I’m one of not many here that enjoyed Bob. I thought his voice was unique, not annoying like so many other SEC play callers (I’m talking about you, uga). And I never cared much for Titans games on the radio. I was not looking forward to the change.

With that, I’ll admit I was flat wrong. I listened in Saturday and the play calling was fantastic. The excitement blend through the speakers. I’ll be back.
