am I so excited that the new season is hours away? YES BUT I'm even more excited that I get to hear Mike Keith broadcast Tennessee football games!!!

I haven't listened to the radio broadcast of Tennessee games in many many years and I am so looking forward to reviving that tradition from my younger days.

I'm a Titans fan so to say I'm excited about Keith is the understatement of the year. I love his style and energy. When I hear him yell "SACK" I want to run through a wall. He's the best at his job.

Hope he tips his hat to John a little, uses one of Ward's phrases. I bet he does..

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but is there a way to get the radio broadcast to line up with the television broadcast? Never listened to Bob much, but the last time I did a couple of years ago, the radio broadcast was about 3 - 4 seconds ahead of the TV broadcast. I really want to start listening to Mike do the games with the TV sound off. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

I’m thinking about investing in a cheap handheld radio and headphones to take into the stadium. Haven’t had the desire to do that in years, but now that Keith is the announcer, I think I will listen to the call in the stadium. A radio will ensure that there is no lag between The broadcast and the game.

You aren’t alone. I love his play calling to the point where sometimes I’d put it on and listen to Titans games in the garage rather than watch on tv. Can’t wait to hear the first SAAAAAAAAACCCKKKK.

Mike is good at play by play but needs a strong color guy.

Thank God Blob is gone for good

Yeah I get it.

But he wasn't horrible. He was in the business for a very long time....he was the best we could do at the time. He called some good games but faltered at some worst times.

He followed a LEGEND.... which is something that can be said of his fortitude. Much like some generals and presidents.... although I'm not comparing him at all to the afore mentioned.

The guy did his all to be a VFL.

Let's give him a break.
