A HUGE loss. If he was still alive, Gundy would still be around because Pickens would've placed billions of his own money in NIL collective to where Oklahoma State would easily be able to purchase the lion's share of talented players to put them in the top tier of the Big 12.I also wonder how much the loss of T. Boone Pickens is playing a role in Oklahoma State's inability to recruit well now. He was a big football fan, and he would have bankrolled their NIL collective. He was also a big believer in Gundy.
Just read an 2023 article where he and his foundation has donated over $650M to Ok St over the yearsA HUGE loss. Parody account... but I don't think it's a bad move as an "analyst"
Who cares? You telling me you wouldn't do it too? I can guarantee 99% of HC's would do it, it's not that big of a deal. Sounds a little petty!Gundy played Tennessee and other schools to fatten his pocketbook and stay at Ok State. His Cowboys just got lassoed at Oregon. I suspect he won’t be there much longer. Can’t believe we went after him, not once but twice. Tells you everything you need to know about how low this program sunk.
