Chris Peterson inherited a good program. Not sure how he would handle a program that needs to be retooled. Unfortunately thats the situation he would inherit.

Peterson inherited a great situation from Dan Hawkins..... Hawkins was the "vogue" selection a few years ago and what has he done at Colorado?!?!?!? SQUAT!!!

We have a top 5 class, I say that's probably better than Kentucky....

Who is this Lane Kiffen guy?

Latest Al Davis victim - err, sorry, "Oakland Raiders ex-head coach". Mike Shannahan had a similar experience and turned out OK with the Broncos. Kiffen was previously the offensive coordinator at USC and their offense seemed to run pretty well......

I don't think this would be the best hire. I think their are other guys out there that would fit better. CHRIS PETERSEN!!!!!

Peterson over Cowher? Are you freakin kidding me! Just goes to show how much you know about football.

I would take Cowher over anyone else discussed besides Gruden. How realistic those two are is yet to be seen

We need an offensive coord. that will open it up and give us the greatest chance to score and to get the very top recruits. It has been too consevative for too long.

Cowher, would be perfect, his nature is Vol-a-tile and his teams reflect that.

I have been watching and several people on the news cast are talking about cowher.Stating that they need to go after someone of his caliber.Or go after him.

We would be lucky to get him and talk about sending a message to the rest of college football.:crossfingers:

Whoever it is . I hope that they get the Vol nation excited
about football again. I have never heard as much boos
at home ever at Tennessee.

Yeah tell me again how that is working for the fat man at ND?

B/c new england didn't win all those rings b/c of Charlie Weis. They won because of bellicheck, vinatieri and a kick ass defense. their offenses were competent at best. Cowher was one of the best coaches in the nfl for 15 years
