As I'm watching this wretched show with Mark Packer, David Ligon, and Mike Griffith, I have come to a realization. Griffith is easily the most clueless suckup in the entire universe of sports media. To hear him tell it, the game yesterday was close and UT has no real problems. Laughable. Then again, there's a reason local sportswriters don't make much money.

You obviously haven't listened to Jimmy Hyams, he may sound smart, but he's a walking illiterate sports moron.

were his points so laughable they are not worth sharing with those of us that are not local?

Hell hat, most of us here are better armchair QB's and coaches than the sportswriters and commentators. I just wanted to choke the guy with Lundquist yesterday when he said "Adrian Foster".

It could be worse, Will Overstreet could be on there giving his expert analysis. And taking up for Fulmer over ever thing, yes ever thing.

Mike Griffith makes Jimmy Hyams seem omnipotent. Griffith shouldn't be allowed to cover girls middle school basketball.

Griffith has so far said that the game yesterday was competitive, Cal is a great program, Ainge is a great QB, and he thinks the rest of the year will be good.

wow, I can't even bring myself to watch that show. The only person I can listen to from Knoxville is John Adams. I like Dave Nathan cause hes funny, but he's not real smart either. I would rate him with Griffith at times

He just compared Tim Tebow to Donovan McNabb and said our secondary wasn't that bad.

CPF has pictures of Griffith with a tranvestite prostitute.

He picked the Florida game correctly...

You make it sound like Hyams is Lou Holtz or Lee Corso.

Don't fault him if he isn't a Kool-aid drinker and plays the homer role.

He predicted Florida to win by 6. Real close? He's an arrogant idiot that doesn't know what he's talking about half the time.

I'm watching this as well. Is this live? I thought it was a taped Knoxville based show.

That guy (Mike?) said, "be careful what you wish for fire Fulmer fan. Look at Bama after they drove Stallings off."

Also, can someone with half a brain call into radio/tv shows these days? Dreadful.

When Tim Tebow does what he did to us yesterday for 3 straight years, then makes a handful of Pro Bowls, it's a good comparison.
