I doubt there are very many coaches that wouldn't have been "5-15 losers" working with what Al Davis put together.

I actually consider what Kiffin did their to be a little bit of a success. It's a shame that Davis, someone who I respect so much, can tarnish his reputation so much over the past couple of years. His decision making football wise the past couple of years have just been astounding.

A 5-15 loser as HC, and Chavis as DC.

Think of the money I'll save by skipping going to any games next year.

So since you want to use the NFL as a point of reference to him being a "loser", then you should be allowed to use the OC duties at USC to count for wins/losses as well because his time at USC has much more significance to his abilities as a potential college coach.

They DID think enough of him to make him a head coach in the NFL because of what he did.

By the way, Pete Carroll, Nick Saban, and Steve Spurrier would like to see you in their offices because they didn't fair well in the NFL either.

Imagine that.

Did he really say that if we get Kiffin, that we can keep Chavis as the DC?

:eek:hmy:  :banghead2:

According to Chris Low, that is what makes Kiffin such a good candidate. He said it would probably be a package deal because he would probably bring his Dad Monte with him as the DC.

Bash Chavis all day, I can criticize him for softy zones, and lame prevents when we're ahead and on third downs, but defense has not been the MAIN reason we've had 2 losing seasons in the past 4 years.......

therer's been NO offense, my friend........
