Not to get argumentative, we could say the same thing about Marlon Brown. He played against some really crappy competition. I am all down for finding a diamond in the rough kind of guy I'm just really curious how he was rated so low and how the new staff found him and wanted him...
I believe the reason he's rated as a 3 star is because he played a primarily a zone defense in high school. Despite being dominant in that particular type of defense, many recruiters have questioned his man ability. This however shouldn't be an issue considering he's the ideal mold for a CB in the Tampa 2 formation.
possibly his competiton. but who knows? it's been said before there are excellent examples of mistakes by recruiting evaluators and they should be taken with a grain of salt. do not forget that almost everyone on our coaching staff used to work in the NFL and one of them is possibly the best defensive coach in history.
No. Good competition. I could describe it to you or you could just go on some of his videos and watch his competition and then watch Marlon Brown's. Then tell me who has the better competition. Ohio is hands down better at HS football at every division compaired to TN.
Didn't mean to rant. Just wanted to put this notion to rest. I have watched multiple TN HS games and multiple OH HS games. Just no comparison.
