Curious as to why we haven't given him more attention, I believe his game is a much better fit than Barton's.

A bit of a reach here as I am on mobile and haven't confirmed it, but I believe he attended the same high school as Adam Leonard who played for CCM at Missouri St.

Biggest hurdle I would guess is making sure he will get a waiver to play next year...if he can't play next year I doubt we'd be interested in bringing him in.

Dixon to Memphis State. Pastner must have laid the law down like he did with Geron Johnson. One strike program. Another big pick up for Pastner. Pastner gets who Pastner wants. Would have been a solid back up (maybe even starter) for UT

The chemistry on teams may be more interesting to watch with Memphis than it is gonna be with Kentucky.

Honestly, Memphis may have the single best roster in the country, when you consider talent + experience. Kudos to Pastner for building that roster, it will be interesting to see what he can do with it, and if he can handle all the different players.

There's no excuse for that team to not be top 15 all year, and to at a minimum make a sweet 16.

Pastner has proven to be a great recruiter, but his bench coaching has always been in question. On paper this team is loaded. As Bleed indicated above expectations will be extremely high. Personally think they will miss DJ Stephens who gave them big time hustle with rebounding, block shots and incredible dunks.

Kane wanted Memphis State bad. But saw the roster was loaded and that playing time would be very limited and he wanted to play big minutes. It's been widely known that Kane wanted Memphis State even before last season started. He knew he was transferring before this past season even started. But once the recruiting class at Memphis State was finished up and the 3 guards were coming back, Kane looked elsewhere. One does not simply "turn pastner down"

It gives me something to do with my pathetic life. But Pastner actually wanted to bring Dixon in last December. But Shirley Raines nixed it bc of the kids off the court issues. Little did she know that Pastner has a very good way of keeping those type of kids out of trouble, I.e. Geron Johnson. But now that Shirley is leaving, Pastner got him

Lmao no, Kane pretty much said **** off. Pastner tried hard, and Kane wouldn't even come visit. Pastner also tried pretty hard for a guy by the name of Robert Hubbs, and was told to scratch. So no, Pasty doesn't get who Pasty wants.

Good pick up for Pastner but with that said I think there are some real concerns with Pookie qualifying, but once again it's a soild pick up. (IMO)
