That's hoping CBJ fails in the future resulting in the team failing and then hitting the reset button for a new HC to bring in his own coaches and his own players to run his own system.

I hope CBJ has a successful year. Our hopes and dreams don't impact the play on the field. The players hopes and dreams do. Maybe this year they will be on the same page and get it done.

FACT is that under coach Fulmer during our very BEST years the average number of Wins was just 9 Wins per season.

The last 2 years buTch has Won exactly 9 games per year.

That IS exactly what Fulmer did in our BEST years, 9 Wins per year so buTch didn't do as well as we all wanted but he hasn't brought anything down except for the hate of the Nega Nincompoops.

I also have to LMAO @ you saying our staff is getting a "major overhaul:, LOL!

So far the ONLY coach that's left is DeBord which all you Nega Nincompoops have hated since day 1 he's been here.

This past season our Vols O did set a new RECORD for the most points scored and the most TD's scored in a single season, not bad for a old OC running the O scheme of buTch, LOL!

We did let a Graduate Assistant leave who was our QB coach and a guy that our QB's loved and thhat's why buTch is talking to people about becoming our QB coach.

NEWSFLASH little boy...Replacing a OC and 1 GA is far from a major staff overhaul, LMAO!

Very few interim get hired to replace the previous head coach. Fulmer and Orgeron ( first 2 I could think of) are not the norm.

Wow... I shouldn't even respond, because clearly you have some sort of learning disability. But the record breaking offense you speak of was only 24th in the country this year. Wrap your head around that... Our most prolific scoring offense in school history barely made the top 25 this year. As for the coaching overhaul, I think you need to educate yourself. It has been widely reported that several of our coaches will more than likely be leaving. Furthermore, I'm not a little boy. I'm a season ticket holder that has loved Tennessee athletics since I was old enough to talk.

Butch is too involved in the offense to hire a big name like Helfrich, a guy like Helfrich wants to be in control of the offense. Butch doesn't relinquish control of his offense and that's the problem. Butch is going to bring in somebody that will be his puppet on offense and do what Butch wants to do. That's how I perceive it anyway, but hey what do I know and for the record nobody has been hired yet so Butch still has a chance to make a splash hire.

Folks haven't hated Debord since he got here it started before for some and during the season when it struggled against quality teams.

Our splash hire on D also set records each week to close out the season.

If a splash hire were at all possible it would have come out by now.

It's going to be Scott and a Co-OC/QB


Next season Tennessee is in the same position if it goes well.

Thank you officer. I'll be combing the other threads to make sure you call out other offenders. I know we haven't hired him, but this looks and smells like another one of Butch's "guys". I understand many assistant coaches don't get their interim tag removed, but I'm not going to sit here and try to dress a pig either. There is a reason he has coached outside of the P5 at his recent stops. He's not a hot commodity, point blank.

If you're going to stare at W-L record and declare you know what "average" means, you're welcome. However, the coaching since his arrival has been in serious question. Poor decision-making, inability to get his team to play a complete game (two years in a row on that one), and a refusal to "own it", which was his motto leads me to conclude he's a below average coach.

Another test: What schools would higher Butch away right now? I'll bet you they'd be "below average."

But golfballs, if you like your 8-4 season with so much NFL talent so that you can go to your Alabama and Florida fans and say, "Hey we had winning season, too! Like u guyz!" then you got your man.

I think the village would blow up if he hires this guy. What has he done to even come close to show he is ready to OC in the SEC. The even more makes it look like Butch is more of a dictator and is scared to death to hire someone good or that might have ideas that is better than the offense he has in place even if to just tweek it a little. As said before, if it was a big time hire we would have heard already because he needs all the help he can get to boost the last few in recruiting.
