Yea we are a joke and embarrassment going on 15 years now should just shut the football program down if we can’t or try to do any better than winning just 28 SEC games since 2010. What a total clown show we have become we gotta get this thing fixed and soon. It’s gets old being the butt of all the rival fans jokes every season.

Didn’t read it all but read enough that while true, nothing we didn’t really know.
Especially the part where Fulmer paid double the asking price for CJP and then bought the useless extended warranty 2 years later.
But I never agree with anyone that says Never, will be/ gonna happen or won’t happen.
Nothing is beyond reason in college football

Yep, the administration on the hill as well as major boosters need to either get serious about football or just shut it down. Either fire Pruitt and go hire a proven coach ( Hugh Freeze is available and would love this job) or get ready for 30,000 season tickets sold next year

Man that hurts. But so much of it is opinion. It all comes down to coaching. Florida has been able to hire better coaches than us. Point blank. But it’s all cyclical. At some point Tennessee will get a good coach again. Bama was Tennessee a decade ago. They’d been through something like 5 coaches in 10 years (one of the coaches never even coached a game because he got caught with a hooker at sec media days) and they were right at .500 for that 10 year stretch. Eventually though...they got the right coach and the rest is history.
The part of the article that’s absolutely correct is that we’ll have to fire Pruitt and that fulmer is a total freaking idiot for extending him last year. Fulmer should be fired before Pruitt. And that should happen right now. Then Pruitt can follow. The thing that I’m so stressed about is for the first time in a long time there an incredibly successful coach out there available that wants the job. In fact...he’s called the job his dream job. How the hell have we not already hired the guy?

Spot on and shows what a pathetic joke we’ve become. This is the worst shape I’ve seen the program in my lifetime and I’m on the cusp of 50. Tell me I’m wrong

This is how bad the past decade has been. The best coach (by far) we've had in the past decade had an 0-8 conferece record one season....

State controlled media in Knoxville couldn't write an article like that and the state radio has a hard time letting callers articulate Bianchi's logic on the air, but much of the stupidity can be laid at Fulmer's doorstep (1) poor hire (2) significant turnover in the position coaching staff (3) September extension and pay raise when it was not necessary, justified or warranted in a pandemic environment and the continued ignoring of the signs all is not well in the locker room as the roster starts opting out, transferring out and commits start decommitting from the recruiting class, Fulmer still has no idea what he is doing in major college athletics and the guy that drove the program into the toilet in 2008 is hell bent on flushing it into the sewer of sports irrelevance and nobody gives two hoots about it anymore except for the most hardened of fans and a handful of students who want to see their school's football team do something besides lose badly on national television each Saturday.

We are not good and admin is committed to the status quo.
I hate it and am finally starting to be ambivalent.
