A couple things initially jump out at me here ...

#1 The number of players highlighted in orange are few and far between.

#2 For the statistic geniuses who tout "just as many 3*s play in the NFL as 5*s" etc etc ... there is a massive amount of highlighted UDFAs and draft picks here. I'd challenge those folks to take a list of 3*s from #301-600 and see if the highlighted areas for pro draft/udfa have as much color. Maybe that will help them understand the statistical realities of recruiting higher vs lower ranked recruits.
Reality: You will not win at a high level consistently w/o a high rate of highly ranked players.

Top 250 high school players as rated by Rivals and 247.

Why dont we get credit for signing Dylan Brooks and the other kids that we got in December of 2020?.

Then later on the kids decide they want out.

It should be mentioned that they initially signed with the former staff.

Thanks.

It would appear to me that more NFL first-day draft picks are near the top of the list and generally declining as one goes down the list.

When players get released from national letter, they are credited to the new school they go with. I dont know why but that is how it works.

I’ve followed recruiting closely for years. In general, the stars matter overall especially in such a competitive conference as the SEC. That being said, you still have to coach them up.

If you can’t recruit at a high level, you won’t win at a high level.

Exhibit A are the top two teams in this week’s poll: Alabama and Georgia.

They didn’t stay. So it doesn’t matter.

There wasn't room to list his complete history. Didn't he commit to Tennessee, then Georgia, sign with Georgia , and then transfer to Tennessee?

Yeah but I dont keep up with commits. That would drive me crazy.. lol

Sigh. Never give your phone to your grandkids because you've no idea who Juvenile is.

Nice work, LWS
Hahaha. A guy I played ball with in school used to say that line all the time. Took me a couple of years to realize he was citing “song” lyrics.
