I think the recruits saw a game and two teams turning corners. Georgia headed downward and Tennessee on the upward move. I don't know what the QB situation is for GA, but they will have a tremendous drop off next year. Ga iwill return several at wide receiver and based on their past recruiting classes it will be a huge depth chart to climb. Defensively they are young. Playing time is always a factor. Coaching is to..
The team, coaches and fans created the right environment. The recruits were left with a rare memorable moment on Saturday night. One that they will not forget for years to come no matter what team they select.
Being part of a rebuilding process is special. CBJ has our current players buying into this. As a player, in this process, it provides them with a purpose that requires discipline patience and strong work ethnic. It's about accepting the responsibly and putting forth extra effort.
Teams should be families and one has been created. The most dependable support comes from your family in times of need. Recruits see this and they crave the challenges, discipline and purpose.
We don't want a kid that doesn't have that desire. I also don't want a kid that thinks he maybe a starter from day 1 but instead knows he will be.
The Walk ons are amazing indicators of what is happening behind the scenes because they bring heart and determination to the team under the coach and staff. Ever been a part of an organization where a lesser qualified talented or skilled individual comes in and pushes the higher ups because of their determination and willpower. It has an affect on team dynamics.
With competition and purpose comes sacrifice with extra effort. CBJ has a plan let's let it play out.
At least 3 games I see us winning because of the Sr leadership on the team and because of they way they were lost last year or the years before that. MO, KY, Vanderbilt. Auburn will have to see. USCe was penciled in as a loss but I see it as a toss up. Bye week helps and home field advantage. Could be a coming out party.
This first half of the season should reveal to most fans IMPROVEMENT. Truly believe that we have made more improvement in 6 games than we have in total of the previous 4 years.
