Remember when majority thought Clemson would smoke us? 🙋‍♀️ Hi! I admittedly was in that camp and here to eat crow! Vols came to play tonight!
Me too!

I thought they were gonna go to pound town on us tonight 😮!!

But Sir Milton and his Merry Defense had other plans.

Didn't think we had a game like this in us. Didn't think Milton could handle that stage. Certainly didn't think our defense could put a performance like this together. Thrilled to be wrong...again. Congrats to this team and superb fan base. They both represented in a big, big way with the eyes of the country all on this game. It's simply great to be a Tennessee Vol!
I’m eating burgers courteous of Dabo!

I knew we had a game like this in us. I saw it against LSU and Kentucky.

First off I got the spread exactly right.....I picked it 41-24. I texted my son who is a Michigan grad student in the 2nd quarter saying how the former Michigan QB was looking good. I had watched Milton at Michigan because of my son being up there, and I stated on here that he was terrible. So glad that I have to eat crow too. He might have made himself some money tonight too. Good luck to Milton and the Vols next year; can't wait. Just hope it's not like 86 lol.

Most majority of us predicted 8-9 wins this season.

Nobody predicted us to beat Bama nor Clemson without our starting QB and star receivers.

What Heupel has done with this program in 2 years is remarkable considering the shape we were in under Pruitt & Fulmer.

I was totally wrong about this hire at first and I’m happy to eat crow.

I was very optimistic after what I saw last year. Very optimistic!!!!…. For 2024 and beyond. I am truly impressed Heup was able to have this much success so soon! I did not expect this that’s for sure.

I was sure their new found QB would smoke us, but glad I was wrong
I would have put money on that kid having a decidedly better night than Milton. Glad I don't wager. On a somewhat related note, I have to wonder how this game might become the turning point for Milton. Huge stage. Tons of pressure. Talented, highly ranked opponent. And he did pretty well. No overthrows. Other than holding the ball too long, not much to complain about. This might be the spark and confidence builder that ignites a great senior season and allows Nico to come along more slowly. That's my hope anyway. Like you, I'm rejoicing at being wrong this morning. What a remarkable team and remarkable season. What I wouldn't give to have that USC game back.

With all this crow eating goin' on, it won't be long before they're on the endangered species list.

Respect for admitting you were wrong. Still disagree with a lot of your posting style (you post as if you an elite coach)
