Midnight Madness?

I was wondering why Tennessee does'nt do a Midnight Madness to kick off the basketball season anymore? I remember i think it was BP's first year here & we had a thing called Orange Madness i think it was. They had the boy's & girl's team there, they had dunk contest, 3 point contest, costume contest, & the boy's scrimmaged each other, & the girl's scrimmaged each other.
Anyone know of why they quit doing it?

Probably didn't like being introduced first, instead of last. Vols BB program is reverse of other schools where the Men's program gets top billing.

Memphis has drawn 15,000 or so each of the last 2 years. Typical of a successful program. Probably will be a sellout for 2009-2010.
