I won't let myself say it...I won't let myself say it...I won't let myself say it...

So, go not Michigan State!

BTW, Connor Cook apparently out with a shoulder injury. I would've taken OSU up to -19 or so, honestly

The downfall of Mich state is they don't turn it over often, but they always seem to turn it over at the worst possible times imaginable.

This one has an ugly 35-10 type feel unless Michigan State can find 2015's Jeff Smoker on the bench somewhere.

yeah, if O state gets in a rhythm with elliott it couldl. But Mich state is one of the toughest mental and physical teams in the country though. They are one of the very few who can interrupt that rhythm and can be still hanging around late. They have to stop elliott before he gets started...or at least slow him down. Another option is Michigan state is a pretty good run team as well, so if they can keep up with O state in rushing yards they can be in it late too. I'm not counting them out yet. Way too early. They are one of the few who can keep up with O state. If much state can score a couple and get up a little before the half they can take this. I really think they need to be up at the half.

That half frozen slush/rain is starting to fall too... this could be a very tough classic type old school game.

I get that you're Ohio State and all but shotgun from the half-inch line is the dumbest thing on earth.

I hate running from shotgun in short yardage situations. However, there are some good plays that can be run in that formation (some of the run/pass option type plays can be effective on the goal line). My preference is to line up in the I-formation and pound it in.
