Michigan learns their fate today

They most certainly have not been cooperating. They refused to enter a negotiated solution and elect to fight much of the NCAA's investigation. But because they are one of the chosen/preferred schools they will get a lighter sentence for lack of cooperation than we would have for acting the same way. We got the largest fine in NCAA history in spite of cooperation.

Michigan just got the highest fine in history. 20 million..

So the NCAA is effectively letting Michigan keep their cheating-ass national title, by paying for it.

I don't ever want to hear the first damn word about anyone cheating, ever again. EVER. Even if it's 20 million dollars, if you put a price on letting programs cheat and KEEP their results, then it's just a matter of haggling over price from now on.

Reminder that fatass Warde Manuel has led the Dept through two major football scandals and multiple Juwan Howard scandals and his only punishment is deciding which teams make the football playoff...

Worst thing is they made them keep Manuel and Moore. Why didn't they make those guys go away!

Further evidence that the NCAA is a toothless threat these days. Go donate their salaries to Saint Jude's or something more worthy! 🤔

And yet the NCAA tried to get Nico for a plane ride to Knoxville 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪

The NCAA probably lightened the punishment since Michigan helped screw Tennessee with the sign stealing. From the NCAA’s perspective, we’re the real threat to them.

The biggest difference between Michigan’s 2023 punishment and Tennessee’s 2019 punishment is that the Big 10’s commissioner stood up for Michigan while Greg Sankey turned his back on Tennessee.

Conclusion: The NCAA is pretty and malicious, but they’re too compromised to fulfill their duties.

WTF?

It had always been the case, for decades, that programs caught cheating got punished even if the players and coaches involved had moved on.

That has changed over the last 10 years. Tennessee & Miami being recent examples.

Well that's it.... time to cheat like crazy and never cooperate with the NCAA on anything.

Somebody get the state senate on the phone. We need a bill that bans NCAA investigators from college campuses passed.

That money is nothing either for what they are now bringing in.

It’s less than half for what we got fined for paying roughly $64,000 to some players and they actually got a huge return on the money since they won playoff games.
They cheated way worse and got nothing. Not a single scholarship lost. Ncaa has just opened door for blatant cheating going forward. Who cares that integrity of game and fairness are in play with Michigan. Just let them do whatever and turn a blind eye.

Michigan got a slap on the wrist but we did too with Pruitt. The only difference was our former AD mismanaged the dept so bad we cooperated so we could avoid a buyout...

They may have gotten playoff wins, but did they get this…?
