Michael Kidd-Gilchrist to enter draft

But again, it comes down to probability. We cannot guarantee that EITHER method will deliver a championship. So taking that into account, the more chances you have to play in the final four, the more chances you have at winning the title. That's all I'm saying.

I can agree with that.

“False statement” about NBA led to inspirational effort from Kidd-Gilchrist against Indiana

ATLANTA — Not many things upset Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

The Kentucky freshman doesn’t worry about individual statistics or media attention. If UK wins, he’s happy. If UK loses, he’s not. That’s why stats don’t matter to him.
However, he was “mad” going into Friday’s NCAA Tournament South Region game with Indiana. No, it was not because the Hoosiers beat No. 1 Kentucky 73-72 in mid-December, one of only two losses the Wildcats have. Instead, he was upset over a ESPN report by Chad Ford Thursday that Kidd-Gilchrist had already decided to put his name into the NBA draft and would leave UK.

“I was mad. It was a false statement. I knew it was a false statement. I love my teammates and everything like that, but it was a false statement. I think it was a distraction. It wasn’t true at all,” said Kidd-Gilchrist.

How well did "coming back and raisng his stock" work for Jones?

I think Teague goes, as said by someone else if not that harrow Teague situation could get dicey.

There is room for both on the roster next season. We do not have a PG signed in next years class, so it depends on where Teagues head is at. He strikes me as a "me first" kinda kid, which I don't hold against him. If that's the case, he should probably try to go and then play his way into guaranteed money from the 2nd round.

However, I will be clear that while Harrow can shoot the rock better and is a solid PG, Teague still has a higher ceiling with more upside. More quickness, better defensive player. His stats over the last 10-12 games of the season have been outstanding. His sometimes stupid shot selection comes in horrible spots in games, which leads to a 5 or 6 point swing, which often overshadows what he is doing really well in a game.

I think that Teague goes, regardless. He hasn't embraced BBN as many would have hoped.

That's what I'm saying is that Teague seems to have that me first attitude and doesn't seem as though hed be very receptive to going from 30 mpg to 20.

I also have a feeling, and this is jmo, that Cal will push him to go. My thought is Cal told Harrow he was the guy in 2013 and that he would be running the show. If Teague were to come back I could see it starting some issues with himself and Harrow.

If I had to predict:

Davis- NBA
MKG- NBA
Jones- NBA
Teague- NBA

Lamb- I could see him returning, but probably will submit paperwork and see where he's projected.(unless he did this last year?)

I dont think anyone realized how dominant this team could play without him. Even a sub-par year Jones was impressive.

Vargas couldn't even make the Dominican Republic national team. He's not sniffing the NBA.

Vargas lmao.

I was just being technical like you. I was only naming the players with eligibility remaining that had a NBA chance...

Teague, jones, MKG, Davis are all leaving IMO

Lamb is the question mark IMO

And yes obviously miller and Vargas will not return

So 6 possibly 7 lost. Next year will be interesting, Noel's becomes a must IMO if all those guys leave.

Davis is obviously gone, MKG is up in the air - I believe he goes but of all the sure-fire guys he'd be the least surprising if he stayed. Lamb really wants to go but he's not very high on draft boards (comparatively) NBA has jump shooters and he's weak defensively plus he pouts and isn't super athletic. Jones will go and if Teague goes it will be less about him being ready and more about it being a weak draft for PGs.
