Michael Hunter to Rams

I'm tired of these entitled coaches jumping all the time. This guy had a contract and never even coached a game here and just jumps. No loyalty. Absolutely ruining the game for me. I don't know why I still follow this crap. You never know who your coaches are anymore......

Er, sorry. Wrong outrage. Never mind.

I mean I don’t think that would have helped much. Being the Rams DB coach is an upgrade over being literally any CFB position coach.
Looked it up: Hunter has been a coach for less than 5 years--and that's IF you count his 2 years as a graduate assistant!

I don't think you find (perceived) coaching talent like that just anywhere. Makes me think this was a big loss.

I mean you gotta think. Last year, he was just an assistant defensive backs coach at OSU — not even the main one. A year later, you get to be the main DB coach for an NFL team. That's hard to pass up, especially when you're a younger coach trying to make a name in the business. Can't necessarily fault him for doing it but it does suck for us because the fact he's already getting that much attention probably means he's pretty good at his job.
