You thinking is wrong. Your so called great recruiting class last year is coming apart at the hinges and youre not out recruiting any of ur rivals this year. I think u were hated just as bad last year, just didnt have a coach that was so easy to make fun of.

Coming apart at the hinges? You're an idiot.

Go abort your life.

So let me get this straight. It's important that the kids love Lil Wayne when his lyrics advocate thuggery and violence:

Why that boy keep buyin' jewelry
East Atlanta cockin' hammers
bandanas on car antennas
No, we do not talk to strangers
Just cut off these .... fingas
Gucci's armed and dangerous
Cocaine, Codeine, and Angel Dust
This AK 47 will hitchu ear boy from ankle up
Gun same size as Nia Long
Clip long as a Pringles can
.45 desert eagle on me you'll think I'm a eagles fan.

This kind of "street cred" is necessary to pull in recruits like the ones who just got arrested for robbery. Careful what you wish for or you'll end up rivaling UF in the arrest category.

I listen to lil wayne and it has nothing to do with how you act. If you met me in person you would never be able to tell that I listened to rap music. Not defending anyone on this matter, just saying that just because you listen to his music doesn't make you a thug.

CLK has given these three young men every chance to excel at the University of Tennessee. He cannot be held accountable for the actions of others. We didn't know the character of these young men during recruitment. Only now do things come to light on how these guys handle themselves when they are away from their parents. Some people just make stupid mistakes, and they have to live with consequences of their actions! Want another example see Maurice Clarette(SP?)!

You are right, it’s the music. We should be playing good christen family values music, or at the very least, country music by artist like Kenny Chesney.

Thanks for your input grandma.

Kiffin let Nuke down. All he did was offer him a scholarship to a Div.1 University--free education, free room and board---free food--an opportunity to play football in the greatest conference in football---opportunity to participate as a true freshman---opportunity to earn millions at the next level, assuming he is good enough. He let this young man down and is obviously responsible for this senseless act. He should have locked these young men in their rooms at night, refused them any individual freedoms, and assumed full responsiblity for their every action.

I emailed him. See below....

Your article on Lane Kiffin was a total waste of my time reading it. You sound like one of those Floridians who love to blame everything on everyone else except the kid who committed the crime. Why not blame his teachers? His Aunts who raised him? His socio-economic background in Pahokee? No....Lane is a better target for your retarded opinions. Your article is riddled with cheap shots and what appears to be sour grapes. When I see your name on an article I will be sure to pass it by. Have a good day.

And I'm sure this columnist never print a bad article on UT or Kiffin right?

I think I speak for everyone when I say I don't give a crap what the Miami Herald thinks or prints about our program. I doubt very seriously the columnist mentioned the 24 arrests and 9 felonies in Meyer's tenure nor the numerous arrests over the year at the U.

I also seriously doubt that other 18 year olds will listen to that a$$. Recruits will go where they think they'll play early and to the school that will help them get to the league.

I am beginning to wonder if they have the foresight to think even that far ahead.

Since Kiffin likes to talk so much he should have just manned up yesterday and said “I took a chance and recruited these young men from the hood and gave them a chance, but it didn't work out and I take 100% responsibility and they are no longer on the team.” Then today we all would be praising CLK for a quick stern response and there would be no issue to write about.

It's a good thing I already knew that the world is full of banana sandwiches, or else the reading material found here would shock me to the core.

There's not enough cold medicine in the world to make sense of some of these comments.

SOOOOOOO not worried about it... b/c I know kiffin didn't tell them to do it, he didn'nt insinuate that they should do it, he didn't even wish that they would do it!!!! Just an Attack against UT b/c they have been so successful so far under Kiffin.

Yea....No sense in giving the accused their due process or their constitutional rights to a fair investigation and trial.... :whatever:

Woefully uninformed as usual. You might want to go back and read my post and the one I was responding to and maybe things will make sense to you. Also what is this "Christen" music you refer to?

In this mornings sports page, news reporter Joseph Goodman jgoodman@miamiherald.com slams Kiffin and basically blames Kiffin for the arrest of Nu'Kese, Jackson and Edwards. I'm so pissed about this and think we should flood him with emails because I can't figure out why it's Kiffin's fault-He can't babysit these guys! The reported has a half a page article in the sports page and basically say this. Here is the link Vols' arrests should haunt Tennessee's Lane Kiffin - Colleges - MiamiHerald.com

He says that Kiffin forced Nu'Kese to lie during his recruitment, Kiffin bashed Pahokee and instead of just getting recruits that Kiffin failed Nu'kese by allowing this to happen. He also says that Kiffin spent $25,000 on billboards here in South Florida but now will no longer be getting recruits or top players here in South Florida because of his brashness and the problems now at the Univ. of Tennessee. He also references to the Univ. President Jan Simek statements about the University and says "We'll Dr. Simek the university has certainly had a impact on Nu'kese haven't they" in a sarcastic way. You can certainly see the hatred towards the Vols by other states, cities and so on because they fear us, which by the way I think is funny!!! The reporter is a frekin moron and he needs to look at Thug University here at UM after UM "I refuse to call them The U" has had robberies, arrest and even a player shot and killed "Bryan Pata" and they still haven't even found the killer and had a drive by involving 2 players last year.

On a note to Joseph "the reporter" we will get your South Florida players and there is nothing you, UM, Gators or Seminoles can do about it ass^%&$!!!!!! :)

Here's my email to him.....

I read your article regarding Kifffin and his culpabilty, in the recent arrest surrounding Richardson, and the other University of Tennessee players. While ulitmately CLK is responsible for the actions of his players. I'm really disappointed that you didn't mention Richardson's parents responsibilty.

Richardson and the other players are 18 years old, thier parents and families have raised these men for the last 18 years, and Kiffin's been involved in there life for a few short months.

So where does the responsibility really lie....
