Might be a covid casualty rankings wise. Will be interesting to see how he looks his senior year. Elerbee clearly liked him in camp.

Yeah said he is listed at 6'3 but is much larger, and that he looks real pretty, by that I took it as he ain't to flabby.

That’s what I have been preaching…… you can’t rank what you are not allowed to evaluate….. we need to take advantage of covid and get these kids that are overlooked due to lockdowns.

Same here, we truly need to step back this year, watch the development and see how this pans out. I believe recruiting rankings and camps are inherently corrupt anyhow but this last year will have created a bigger divide in perception and reality.

And Swain has a ton of connections inside and outside the program. He often knows tons of info but never divulges if the source doesn’t want it so. But he will give hints.

HOW REDDICK FITS IN WITH THE VOLS?
Masai Reddick is a work in progress but has a good, solid base at 6-foot-3 and right around 300 pounds. He’s wide and bodes well in the interior, solid in pass protection but has room to improve. In the run-game, Reddick is a mauler. He gets off the line of scrimmage fast, plays low and drives his feet. Reddick can be seen excelling in down blocks, arch blocks at tackle and drive blocks. The prospect also displays quickness when pulling and kicking out on the opposite side of the line of scrimmage.
He’ll begin his time in Knoxville at guard, but as time goes on, the new Vol commit could transition into an offensive tackle. On film, he’s primarily played on the right side at both guard and tackle. Tennessee first noticed Reddick at a camp just weeks ago in the month of June and the relationship flourished from there. The Detroit, Mich. native was on campus twice thereafter and wrapped up an official visit two weekends ago with a decision already made.

WHAT DOES A MASAI REDDICK COMMITMENT MEAN FOR TENNESSEE?
Tennessee will all but certainly lose Cade Mays following the 2021 season, and depending on individual situations of others, the Vols may lose multiple veteran interior linemen. However, Tennessee will likely return a decent crop of young talent on the offensive line that will be seeking at least one, maybe two, starters in 2022.
Reddick will learn from the likes of Javontez Spraggins at guard right away. He’ll be asked to compete for snaps and provide immediate insurance for Josh Heupel’s up-tempo scheme. Reddick joins the likes of
Brian Grant as Tennessee’s offensive line commits thus far and will be a class behind William Parker-Griffin and Jeremiah Crawford, who came in with the 2021 class.

Now with one guard and one tackle in the class, the Vols are still on the hunt for a couple of offensive linemen in 2022 with four-star tackle
Addison Nichols set to announce later this summer.
