'22 MI CB Jeremiah Caldwell (Louisville commit)

They’ve recruited decent enough in the secondary as is

Some see instant playing time, really it’s a coach that can’t get anything out of his secondary
Mel Tucker may fire his secondary coach after the season is over. We'll have to see. It could be coaching. It could be poor evaluations when you're recruiting.

RC says TN cooled on him, has academic issues
Yep....fromTues 247 Recruiting Chat

Is Jeremiah Caldwell still in play? Does he project as a CB?
Tennessee cooled on Caldwell down the stretch and decided not to push for him. The Vols didn’t even bring him in on an official visit.
So unless they reverse course — and I’ve heard nothing that would suggest that’s likely to happen — I think they essentially have moved on from him. Caldwell was probably more of an option at safety rather than CB, for what it’s worth. But I think he still might have some work to do academically, and he wasn’t as high on Tennessee’s DB board as some other guys in the end.
