on the bright side atleast we get a monday night game 2 weeks in a row :dance2: go vikings!!!!!

The Giants (8-4) and Vikings (5-7) were originally scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET Sunday, but the game was postponed until 8 p.m. ET Monday. Fox was to have regional coverage of the game in both Minnesota and New York and the game will be available nationally for NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers on DirecTV.

Why melt snow? It's obviously going to be heavier and put more strain on the roof.

So snow gets heavier when you melt it? lol

If you melt it, it will drain better, but it was probably too late if the roof had already flattened or partially inverted. Somebody didn't use a proper snow load assumption when designing it.

The Vikings only have one, maybe two home games left anyway. They should just play them at the University of Minnesota's new place and get a new roof ready for 2011. Why not do something like they have on the Georgia Dome? That roof has plenty of support. No inflation needed.

A lot of visiting baseball teams would have gladly shoveled snow on that roof to get rid of it. The lost fly balls in there were ridiculous.

As an engineer that deals with structure, I'm not sure why they chose the design they did.

Who would have thought inflated garbage bags as a roof would have been a bad idea.
