Metal Gear!?!?! Can't be!?!



Day 1 buy.


You gotta remember that MGS3 came out late in the PS2's life span. But, yeah this is later MGS3 came out in relation to the PS2.

Maybe they'll cut back on the ridiculously long cut scenes.

I remember in MGS 4 it prompting a save at one point in the game. Then 30 minutes of cut scene. Prompt another save. 30 more minutes of cut scene.

Sometimes I felt like I watched the game more than play it.

That is trademark Kojima (at least for the MGS series) I would expect this one to be more of the same. I really don't mind it, just because the story is usually really good

I really think MGS3 was the best of the series. Especially subsistence, really got the gameplay and cut scenes just right. The story was close to the best in the series as well.

Yea, I remember back in MGS1 on PS1 and every one after, but a consecutive hour of cutscene is a bit much for me.

Maybe it will be as entertaining as watching liquid ocelot shoot down helicopters with his magic finger. This is towards the end of that hour span I think:

Supposedly the format is going to be like MGS 2. There's a first part of the game (like when you ran around as Raiden for a while), and then a second part that's at a different date.

It's a side story but it takes place 4 years after MGS4 and is considered canon.

Though I'm confused because I thought at the end of MGS4 I thought Raiden was "repaired" back into a regular human.

Looks like it will be on the Xbox 360, XboxNone, PS3, PS4.

Open world, looks like it may take place in outer heaven.
