I’m one of JGs biggest critics as a QB. I have no problem admitting that.

At the same time, I want nothing but the best for him and I pray he shuts me up for good this coming Saturday. The guy is giving his all and supposedly doing everything in his power to improve. Glad you got that pic OP! Your son will cherish that for a long time. 👊🏼

He took a pic with my son. Tremendously friendly young man. I told him they were gonna beat Florida Saturday. He said thanks.
He’s a great kid. He is well spoken and very polite. We first met him a couple years ago and he took pictures with my son at the Georgia baseball game and he signed same picture at SEC media days for my son this year.

Awesome picture. That's what life is really about. Being a positive influence and making good memories...

I just wish to heck the kid could play QB consistently.

Regardless, he's already got his BS degree in 3 years. He's going to be a Life Champion.

Say what you want about that phrase, but it's legit.

Great Pic. JG should have said "Yes we are" to your statement of UT is gonna beat FL on Saturday. That is what a confident QB says.
Maybe "Thanks" was his default response without really listening to the comment. Like when the server says enjoy your meal, and you say "You too"...

Maybe he took notes & he's gonna channel some of The Rocks Charisma and pump up the team.....

You didnt tell him to sit cuz he sucks? Must be one one of the 5 people who stand behind him, because I KNOW the the guys hating on him behind their keyboard would totally be honest with him 😉.
I would've done it in a respectful way. Tell him he needs to stop psyching himself out, read the field and lead his team. Encourage him to play like it's his last game of football.

To those saying he should be spending his time preparing for Saturday.. Do you think he hasnt been shown enough film of his mistakes? Yeah he keeps making them, I know. He's good in practice. I think most would agree more of it this week isn't gonna make a difference. It's gonna take an ah-hah moment for him to change.

Like most of us have said - good kid. Smart. Good character. and tough.

Just not an SEC level QB. But, sadly, CJP chose not to go the transfer route, and apparently Maurer and Shrout are misses, so JG is who we have 'brung to the dance.'
