Met A Family Member Of A Vol Today.

sorry to here Taz...Best wishes.
on the other hand I like DD he has the passion and anger..but need Bray and Hunter to step up and be leaders on the field (both these guys have been bouncing around pregame trying to pump others up injured, so hopefully they can continue next year on the field) . Lathers can take care of the Defense along with Mo Couch. People need to relax its going too be a long offseason. We are young and need leadership on the field and off! GBO!

That's actually really funny. Although this is going to sound like one of those "I have an inside source" kind of comments, take it with a grain of salt. I HAVE NO SOURCES.

A couple of Saturday's ago, I had to run over to the Lowe's near where Stone went to high school to pick something up, and naturally I was sporting orange all over. While there, I met an old man wearing a Maplewood cap that CLAIMED to know James and his family, and said they were/are pretty pissed about him [James] getting yanked from center.

Like I said... old dude, could've been talkin' out his ass. This thread made me think of it anyway.

They were pissed? I guess they missed the Florida game....and the Georgia game.

Coach Cal can call his player a mf'er on national tv during a game, and continue to rake in NBA players, but our football players are getting hurt feelings because Dooley tells them they need to get better and says damn and sh*t?

I wonder if that UF DT cussed and that messed with his snaps

Yeah, Jordan Haye or something that that...(not quite the right name but something in that ballpark). Guy was a senior...# 6 I think.

That guy got up in James' big ole smart brain. And to be real honest, James hasn't recovered from that day yet. I hope he does. He is a real good kid...the kind that I want representing UT. You don't have to worry about him holding up a 7-11 or anything. He was raised right. But just going to have to work on the S&C...especially legs...and most importantly, get mentally tough!

You can make all the fun of the OP's statement that you want, but that same song is being sung by many of the players. There is trouble in the camp, and it runs deep. I had the good fortune to talk with a current player's parent at the Kentucky game. After the game, the parent expressed many of the same sentiment as OP states. This player was a starter. I heard the same sentiments from another player's parent at a recent home game, although this player was not a starter. Sling all the arrows you wish about this being gossip, BUT I KNOW there are problems with the communication and respect between the coach and MOST of the players. Saban may be a butt hole, but he is respected by his players. The same cannot be said at UT.

Who are these players you speak of??? If DD is so bad and hurts the little darlins feelings so much why have'nt one of the seniors who have nothing to lose come out and say something (it would be front page news). All I've seen is "I heard from a players uncle, brothers boyfriend, sisters cousin extx ext."

Didn't say I agreed. Bottom line, I've heard all the BS about the laces of the ball being turned a different way, but they should have NEVER made him switch hands.

dooley should have gotten a left handed player if thats what he wanted.

I have an incurable bladder diease, and I have a machine in my back for it like a pace maker.I had it for 10 yrs and the battery was dying so I had to have it replaced.

Don't lose hope on that bladder problem. Stem cell researchers are making a lot of progress in regenerating human organs, even the heart. So, there's a possibility that they may someday be able to regenerate any organ, including the bladder.

Don't forget the newest advances in tissue scaffolding, in which the keratin structure of pig organs is scoured clean of cells, and then stem cells are introduced to grow in non-rejectable replacement organs...

my bladder is fine it just spasms cause there is holes in my lining

Hawkins is a horrible coach. Was that an attempt to make Dooley look better? Yelling style coaches are dead...kids today will not respond to them...I am not sure if I believe all I am hearing but if half is true we should move on...

Had surgery today, and the guy who wheeled me to my room is a current players Uncle. He said most of the players dont like Dooley, and Dooley cusses at the players, and points fingers, and blames them. The player almost went to Bama before going to Tennessee. He said He might even leave, and transfer to Bama.

I do agree that Dooley needs to accept some of the blame for this season but I think he has been trying to get these young guys to grow up quickly and take responsibility for the teams losses. Dooley wants these guys to come together as a team and have some leaders emerge. There is a method to his madness.
