I was a Radioman/Specialist in Morse Code worked for the Sixth Fleet Commander in Ops and did some shipboard telecommunication work with the Navy Seals/Marine Corp. Of course this was all during peace time. Did some Intel work during Grenada raid -Reagan Era and the Falkland Island war between Argentina and Great Britain.

What example are you talking about? You are right in that this is a high profile forum. The majority of posts in this forum attacks either players and/or coaches and it is an embarrassment and potentially damages the brand but that does not constitute trolling? Okay...go ahead with the double standard. It's expected when the majority of posters attack the team.

I was an 05K10, non-morse interceptor.
My time was during the Iran Hostage situation.
But I could decipher morse at about 60-65 wpm...you probably double or better that speed

I use to be awoken up at all hours did not matter if I just got off of a shift and had no sleep. When there was job to be down with MS I was the best. I'm proud to say that.

The Com 6th Fleet Commander personally awarded me with countless Bravo Zulus for a job well done.

I got clocked at 86 wpm but that was not my norm. Typically 60's to 70's wpm. I recall sweating and shaking a little in fear of messing up but I was a gamer at it.

Holly has told some close to her that she needs to find someone that can motivate this group. She said she has tried everything she knows and nothing sticks with this group. When she says she doesn't know what's wrong in an interview, she is being honest. Something is lacking in the personal makeup of this group to stay motivated. They talk a good game in press conferences but it doesn't follow up in their play. It must be very frustrating to coach. I hope this next group coming in has a little more fight in them and hate losing.

Uncalled for TJ. T_V took exception at a very ugly personal comment about Diamond. Very deservedly so, imo. She's not been involved in the arguing between posters in this thread. No need to bring her into the "discussion" (fussing!).

Heavens! Everybody calm down, we're all Vols...well OK, there are a few trolls, but they are pretty apparent. And it's sure not you, Amb, CoachJ, etc. (now gule we might want to double check:))

With Pat, we lost the presence, the leader, the Alpha.
You can't replace CPS.
The person,
or the coach.

You simply can't.

But you must replace that "something" that was lost that CAN be replaced.

Those are some awesome athletes. . . . To any coach, but one who can build one.
She needs someone on her staff, these top athletes can't impress.

She couldn't motivate her previous teams, either.

Seems the problem is she's not a very good motivator. That's on her, not the players.

gule has my "best" hat; he got me feeling all sorry for him and I said he could keep it a while longer. That is a WHILE, gule, not permanently!

It's replacement is in time out still. Did not perform well at SECT.

This team did not have a leader. That is why I always liked Burdick. She wasn't the most gifted athlete on the floor, but she was a leader. I get the impression that these women don't really get along. There was no team chemistry what so ever.

Cierra's team had problems, too. She didn't become a proper leader until the 2nd half of her senior year. Prior to that, there was the same issues with playing down to the level of their competition. Cierra was 1-2 vs. Chattanooga under Holly, for heaven's sake.

This has been a systemic problem. Not one team, not two... it's been an ongoing problem.

Winning builds chemistry for athletes of this caliber.

They want to be teammates first, then friends. Athletes on this level would jettison their own sister, if she held the team back. They build relationships based on successes.

These girls come from successful program backgrounds. They don't want to befriend you if you can't ball' with them.

To get them on the same page, you've got to make sure the focus of the team, is greater than the focus of the individual players.

Smallvol thanks for pointing out I shouldn't be drug into this. However...now that TJ has shot his mouth off, I have no choice but to address it. I will try to keep
it as clean as possible out of respect for my dear mother, God rest her soul.

TJ, you are a piece of work. Rickster gets sick of hearing the same thing over and over. Anyone who does not agree with the Holly hate rhetoric gets crucified.

I think Alex took offense at a post that was not necessarily directed at him. Alex makes no bones about his desire for Holly to go but does not make his comments personal. Rickster, maybe we need to get specific when calling out the nasties and not generalize. Now...if I am wrong in the intent of your post, Rickster...my bad.

And speaking of nasties, back to you, TJ. After your comment about Diamond and your literal obsession with Holly being fired, I think you may need to seek professional help. On another thread I flamed your ass because you basically said Diamond DeShields was mentally unstable and Holly made her that way. I stand my my statement that you need a mudhole stomped in your ass for that. That was way over the line.

Coach Jumper - I don't think Rickster is a troll, I think he is just sick of hearing the same thing over and over and maybe today it got to be too much. I know when I saw what TJ said about Diamond it flipped by ***** switch. You cannot deny that those who don't jump on the Holly hate bandwagon are subject to getting crucified on this forum.

It's SO sad that a thread about Mercedes returning had to be dampened by the HHs!!! You people really don't let up. I can't wait until next year when we're clicking on all cylinders to see what type of hate you all can muster to throw at Holly and co.
