I thought so, too, and I remember the season being a pretty big disappointment. I think we floundered, made the tournament as an 8 seed or something, and lost to .... Charlotte?

i'm not 100% positive, but i honestly think we opened the season at #7 that year, and got in as 6-8 seed like you said.......

and yes, we did lose to Charlotte.......which was fun seeing as how i live there.

Pearl is not Jerry Green so I'm not worried about Bruce's teams lacking hustle or effort.

That season was proof that the program was a disaster. Talent doesn't win games or garner fan support.

As poor as Buzz's record was, we needed a cleansing.
