Memphis?

My parents would drop us off at the Mall of Memphis at the age of 12-13ish to walk around, play the arcade, etc.

I stopped going, then drove by a few years later @ Christmas and there were deer stands in the parking lot with officers fully armed and ready to fire. Craziness. I believe it was then dubbed the mall of murder.

And now it's a big, empty field.

Out of towners planning a trip should make sure the Griz are in town. A trip to Memphis and missing a game in the Forum would be a big mistake.

Make up your mind dood. I thought you were an expert on the town since you're giving advice about it and what not.

I never said when I saw it. It was eons ago. I used to go to Memphis a lot as a kid but now I hardly have time. Memphis for me is Liberty Land, Wolfchase Mall, the Gold Club (right down the street from my aunt), Corky's, and Graceland. I saw the Pyramid but I have never been inside. I know as much about downtown Memphis as you would know about downtown Atlanta.

GOOB. :)

But dont put any coins in the fountain. Security guard scared the crap out of my 7 yr old. I gave him a quarter when he asked for it. He threw it in, security guard came running over, pushed him back a little and went into the fountain fully clothed. Told me that ducks could choke on it so he went in and got it.

What a tool.

My aunt made this big deal when I was about your son's age. "We have to go see the ducks at the Peabody! Oh my heavens it's the greatest thing since white bread!" :)
