I am a graduate of the previous Memphis State University, but I am a diehard VOL Fan!! I pull for both teams, but when they go head to head, I pull only for the BIG ORANGE...I had a vision this morning about the Memphis Game...the setting is the Pyramid, the Memphis team is being announced by the PA announcer...all of a sudden there is a hush in the crowd, and as the Tennessee Mens Basketball team is announced, the whole team comes out hand in hand wearing Black shorts, Black Jersey's with the Orange "T" on the back...just thinking about it sends chills down my back...Go Big Orange, kick the Tigers Butt!! :rock:

That shows you how much I really keep up with the Tigers...I have not been back there since 1994!! Does Memphis still have the Pyramid? Does anybody use it?? Anyway, I think the VOLS coming out in Black uniforms, united hand in hand, with rocky Top being played in the background would be awesome... :rock:

Research has proven that dark (black) uniforms are an intimidation factor used against the opposing team...oh yeah, they are wearing black basketball shoes too... :eek:lol:

Pearl DID mention something about some uniform surprises this year. Perhaps your dream will prove true-except for the Pyramid part...

It may be disqusting to a 20 year old College Student with insecurity issues...HaHa...no names mentioned, but to me and the millions and millions of VOLMANIACS throughout this great Country that we live in, I think it would scare the Crap out of the Tigers and motivate the Mighty Vols to score in triple digits....whew!!!! :rock:

I don't think black uniforms are going to scare the number one team riding a 50 sumthin' home win streak.

I seriously had a dream last night that UT finished with four losses this season, one of them being in the SEC tournament. UT still got a one seed.

But the worst part of this dream... I kid you not... UT became the first one seed to lose in the first round. It was awful. I woke up mad.

Luckily, it was just a dream. Go Vols!

It has nothing to do with insecurity. It has something to do with black NOT being a school color. Orange. and. WHITE. We are not Halloween U.

Duke and Florida both have black unis and black isnt in their school colors at all. Why not mix it up a little bit. I think it would look awesome.

Duke looks silly in theirs, and I have never seen Florida in theirs.

My vote for alumni of the year! No wonder the university doesn't grow any faster. The alumni support other schools.

Actually Taurean Green said it was because they lost when they wore them.

Good point though, those candy striped pants we ripped off Indiana are real classy and look great!
