Memphis desperate to get into a "power" conference

Wasn't there a dalliance between Memphis and the P12 a few months ago? Pretty sure Memphis pulled out.

Then again, I could just be imagining things. With all the changes going on pretty easy to lose track
The P12 tried to poach Memphis, Tulane, USF, and I think UTSA shortly after adding the MWC teams. But the American teams decided to stay with the AAC….. I think it was because the P12 wasn’t willing to pay enough to cover their travel costs.

The ACC should take that deal tomorrow. We all know it's a matter of time before FSU, UNC, etc leave. Make the money while you can.

Just taking in more and more trash teams in what amounts to a semi Ponzi scheme is just gonna make them leave sooner.

As soon as the B1G or SEC offer they're gone regardless of who is there. Might as well backfill and make $$$ now.
