This is the year when families come together to enjoy the holidays, exchange gifts, and to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

My fondest memories of Christmas are those of my grandmother. She passed away in 2007 of cancer and Christmas just doesnt seem the same.

I can remember as a kid, going over to her house weeks before Christmas and helping her decorate. She loved Christmas. She would go above and beyond for her grandchildren. We would always go to grandmothers for Christmas dinner. We would open presents and then spend the rest of the day with family.

This time of year always brings me great memories of my grandmother. I may have lost her, but I will never lose those memories.

What are some of your best memories of the Christmas season?

-Waking up to a surprise yellow Stormer bike that had blue snake belly tires, oakley grips, and a Haro bike plate

-Going to my country cousins, similar to cousin Eddie, each year until I was about 12.
Got a sweatshirt with a leather lightning bolt going from collarbone to opposite hip one year.
The next year, I couldn't believe they gave me a Polo shirt. I didn't have anything Polo and knew it was expensive. I said, "wow! A polo shirt!". My aunt said, "well, it's not exactly Polo". I looked at the logo, and the horse only had 2 legs and a really goofy look on his face.

I use to search the house up and down for our presents. Eventually my mom would keep them in the trunk of the car until she could wrap them. Didnt take me long to figure that out

Gathering eggs for grandma to make all the good food, having to walk through snow to get them. A big pilgrim wood stove in the center of the house, and the sound of feet on the front porch, which signified the arrival of more family.

My parents would tell me not to come downstairs to try and sneak a peak of Santa Clause on Christmas morning because if he was there he would throw pepper in my eyes and make me go blind.

When dad was stationed in Hawaii in the early 70s we made it a point to go to the beach every Christmas, even if it was raining and nasty. Later, when I was stationed there we made sure to do the same thing.

What the heck am I doing in Pennsylvania?

When the Big Wheel that was sold out was at the bottom of the tree was special.

Also, used to have scavenger hunt for the one big present... tons of fun and a great idea for parents w/ kids old enough to figure out the clues.

Every year my mom tells us kids not to spend any money on her. Last year I have her a card at my grandma's house for our whole family gathering shindig. Inside of it was my entire holiday bonus donated to Doctors Without Borders in her name. She bawled her eyes out and I could tell she wanted to yell at me but she couldn't. I'm not sure how I'll out do myself this year.

We get wasted at a bar every Xmas eve and I have been kicked out the last three years on a row. Christmas is usually hung over opening gifts w our mom threatening to fly home early.

Sounds like the Bender family Christmas (Breakfast Club fans will understand this)

Sounds fun

Three years ago I got kicked out for dumping a pitcher of bass on my buddy who was kicked out.

Two years ago for calling John lackey a d-bag for signing w the red sox, and last year for telling the bartender he sucks at his job.

You sound like you need an ass whipping for Christmas, or to learn how to handle a cocktail. Or both.

I remember one year my dad got me a box of kit Kats and my bro a box of butterfingers.

I tried to conserve mine and my brother finished his in about three days and ended up eating a lot of mine. Still bitter.

I saw Lackey at a bar across the street from Angels Stadium after a game about 5 years ago. Goofy looking SOB
