I just wanted to show off some memorabilia that my dad helped me get over my younger years, but I had a question about the endzone piece he passed down too me. Anyone have exact details on it.

It's a piece of the old superturf playing surface. They converted the stadium from artificial turf back to grass in the mid 90s.

Endzone piece of artificial turf is from the last time Tennessee was able to effectively score an offensive touchdown...

Some time in the late '90s

The pictures are from when Tennessee actually had WINNERS associated with their Programs.

I have Eric Berry's name plate from the Chic-fil-a Bowl his junior season. He had already announced he was going pro.
We got on the elevator with him after the game and asked him for his football gloves. He reached into his backpack and pulled out the name plate and handed it to me. I gotta get it signed sometime.

I have a piece of the old astroturf as well. My wife got it for me last Christmas. Was a pretty cool gift

Eddie from Eddie's Sports Treasures off Broadway, does a private signing with him every year before EB's camp in Knoxville.

If you want, he will take an item you have with him to get signed for a small fee. Great guy and very trustworthy.

Also has a ton of good Tennessee memorabilia if you want to check his store out.
