Meltdown Coming?

Nobody is allowed to say anything negative without being called a negavol. Just ignore the fact that we played badly. Too many penalties and turnovers. Just keep pumping the sunshine.

Lose by 8 to a ranked team and so many think it's the end of football. Cracks me up every time. I'm still proud of the team.

Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Fire Butch!!

J/k

But this loss sucks. I thought our D would hold them to less points.

No need for it. We go 6-6 next week. We make a bowl game. WHILE the improvement is minimal at best, it's improvement.

Sure, everyone wants the quick turn around. It's not always gonna happen.

I forsee a meltdown coming, however, Missouri has a stellar d-line probably the best d-line Dobbs has seen this year not much help from his WR's at all. The offense has played flat all night...

Oh, it's not coming. It done came. Vols 2015.

Nope....proud of our VOLS. We are playing with half the talent and less program stability. We are finally competetive and next year will be a lot better.

I'm proud too, but we are the more talented team.. Face it we were out coached again.. Yes we will be a better team as soon as team and coach grow

We got beat by a better team, face it. If you don't believe that, compare all the units against their counterparts. Our O-line was simply way overmatched and if you can't block the other team you will lose, period. We won't beat 9+ win teams until our O-line improves. It's coming folks so relax.

I'm proud of the guys. They were outmatched but never gave up. If Dooley was at the helm the team would have folded after the first quarter. It's taking some time to get the Dooley out of program (expecting-to-lose attitude, stupid recruiting (no OL signed 2012, etc)).

I tell you what though - I wouldn't let the OL sit down all summer and keep them in the weight room. They're still not good at all.

Plz stop blaming dooles for our o line woes, it's like blaming majors or cut for our poor play calling? Dooles never coached our line. Yes he didn't sign many at all on team 118. You want tiny back? I think we should be patient and coach our oline up

Ha ha. We will humiliate Vanderbilt. We are going to a bowl. Doubters be doubtn

Our corners got beat on a few plays... We lost

We haven't humiliated anyone all year.... closest may have been KY after they played 8 weeks in a Row/tired/ingured etc

There were sparks of life from team 118. We had a chance in the end. It was a total team loss. Little bit of everybody not coming through. Even Butch at the end with the timeouts. The pulse of greatness is there though. That was a good Missouri team or they wouldn't be East champs.

We have so many guys out right now. I was frustrated all game but I'm not down on my Vols. There's absolutely no need for any melting to take place IMO. But yes, this sucks!

We still finish 6-6 which is what most expected all year if I remember correctly. We are fine. Big steps taken 2015

If you watched the game.....you have to know it wasn't that close. ... got manhandled tonight

Did you watch the game? If malone doesn't let a perfect pass through his hands, we win. It was 16-13 at that point. That drop/INT lead to a mizzou TD. A 14 pt swing that lost us the game.

So yeah. I guess one play away from winning is really "not even close."

But this is the meltdown thread, so plz continue being mindlessly negative.

Always "1 play Away from winning".... really?

Only TD before garbage time was a fake FG....but we were only one play from winning. They were only 2 more plays from winning by 21.... where do the hypotheticals end? We got manhandled as stated earlier.
