Well...see you later Melancon. :salute:

Seriously how good would a 260 DT be in the SEC anyway.

He must of seen the depth at DL we have and saw the writing on the wall. Good job young man.

there's this thing called gaining wait...people do it sometimes. The kid had potential

Well...I know there are exceptions to what I'm about to say...but at 6'2", in order to put on the amount of weight he would need to be effective in the SEC he would probably have to do some things that could land us on probation...

And as far as potential is concerned...look at Demonte Bolden.

Sorry guys, but it is hard to put any positive spin on losing a d lineman these days.

Wondered why and then...

The Western Athletic Conference, of which Louisiana Tech is a member, has more lenient academic standards than the SEC.

I see we lost another scholar athlete. Why can't we recruit guys who aren't morons? It is no wonder we have so many recruiting busts...

I don't know Cardassian, because alot of the guys that didn't qualify were recruited just as hardly by many other SEC teams.

Not a huge deal. There are plenty of other DL that want to play for the University of Tennessee.

He is at La Tech as a nonqualifier so he can't play until next year. Family issues was the reason cited.
