Tell me...Who has MSU beaten of any quality and why do they deserve the ranking they have?...I'll wait :whistling:
I have to believe we outnumber the extremists on either side.
I am neither for or against right now. I am not pro or anti right now. I am tired of the posters who think I have to pick a side. I don't.
Anybody with me?
The funny thing is that it really doesn't take that much intelligence. All you have to do is be able to look at a trend line, a product on the field that lacks fundamentals and intensity, and events surrounding the program to realize that poor Dooley is just not up to the task. The Arkansas game last year should have been enough for people.
And as far as the OP, since when is having a diversity of viewpoints a bad thing?
So I'm not intelligent enough to have already made my up my mind one way or the other.OP pulling a William Jefferson Clinton style shift in positioning. A little traingulation, circa-1996.
So I'm not intelligent enough to have already made my up my mind one way or the other.
But you think I feel a diverse viewpoint is a bad thing.
And I'm the one talking out of both sides of my mouth?
OK.
I agree with pretty much everything you just said, but I think that we're all putting those last 4 games in the win column too early.
I try to look objectively at the past to make my opinions on Dooley, and his teams have a tendency to have at least 1 game that is way too close (or a loss) against a team that should have no business hanging with even a depleted UT team. In 2010 it was the 2 OT win over UAB. In 2011 it was the overtime win vs Vandy and the shocking loss to UK.
I will give Dooley credit if they pull out the win over Miss St, but I won't count on 8 wins in the regular season until the clock strikes zero vs UK.
If the team finishes at 8-4 or better before the bowl, you won't hear me saying anything bad about Dooley. However, I have little faith in this outcome at this point.
