Oldest rivalry in the south—Georgia/Auburn.Yesterday the panel was talking about how Miss State might be really good this year, then one of them said “Don’t forget, their permanent East opponent is Georgia” and no one corrected him. In fact, they all agreed.
So….. I won’t react at all to ESPN’s opinions/predictions.
It’s Kentucky by the way, Kentucky is Miss State’s permanent East opponent. Not Georgia.
I work for an insurance company, my job is not to cover SEC football, my job is insurance, and I know it’s Kentucky.
Yeah that's bs they didn't correct that.Yesterday the panel was talking about how Miss State might be really good this year, then one of them said “Don’t forget, their permanent East opponent is Georgia” and no one corrected him. In fact, they all agreed.

Let’s face it, media days is entertaining and gives us something to focus on while waiting on fall practice to start. But all that really matters are those 12 pairs of numbers that will be on the scoreboard after each 60 minute contest. I like for Tennessee to be respected and to get the attention we deserve. But wins provide the only results that matter. Let’s go out there and whup some folksCouldn't care less about what us said at media days.
It will be longer when Little UT and UO join in a couple of years, or so.SEC Media days picks are notoriously wrong other than making the safe pick of AL to win it. I have always wondered how these guys who supposedly are on the inside of SEC FB are so bad at picking teams. We fans are much better than they are.
How will you react if:
1. Another QB is selected second team SEC over Hooker? Say the QB from Arkansas or Kentucky.
2. If Kentucky is picked second in the East?
