Except every great PG in history has done it. If you understand the situation and can pull it off, it's a good play as it draws the defense one way then you pass the other way.

Most you see aren't even no look passes. They pass the ball and then jerk their head in the opposite direction

true as well. Or if you know a particular player tends to try no looks on breaks, you see him look one way and jump the pass.
Just keep your head up, make a quick decision and give a glance where the pass is going while releasing.

Nope...but I did teach him that hook shot.

Also congrats on finally winning a game looser. (Yes looser is on purpose) :)

Thanks man. I thought my guys went out and executed the gameplan. They played as a team and overcame some early season adversity.

I'd also like to thank the fans for their unconditional support and enthusiasm for all things Hughjasskickers.

But mainly I'm just glad the BTO fans went home disappointed. LOL

day 2, absolutely. Down the line with some W's and proven talent on the court, he won't care.

And Cal's players aren't no look passing anyway. They are dribble drive. They penetrate and finish, kick out or lob it up for a trailing big man.

The coach is trying to establish a base early on in practice and work on fundamentals. No look pass isn't fundamental.

Actually the no look pass is a fundamental . But you're right if he's working on basic fundamentals the basic bounce pass and other passes is what he's focusing on. Given time he will release the reigns. A good coach does that.
