Does anyone else notice that it doesn't matter who we play or what we are ranked. It seems that the media always has little side interviews with the other team's players, coaches, fans, parents etc.? It seems like we got so little coverage from the sideline announcer, and the little thing that showed UGA's Pollack for a minute blurb???

Ah, it wasn't like that at all. If you don't believe me, ask volfanbill. He called me out because I thought the same thing you do and said so in another thread.

i've always thought people look too much into this. it's not like the people up in the booth do it on purpose.

Maybe not, but I think it happens because they plan to do this stuff before the game, figuring that UGA would be dominating and then they are stuck showing Pollack when his team is getting whacked instead of one of our previous players.

Whatever, we won!!!

We did get Peyton narrating a story about a former Vol doctor. :dunno:

I agree with you... This is another incident I had this past week.

Last week I called Rivals Radio and asked a Simple question.

Question to the screener was this.

"Do you think if Tennessee with the way their playing Offense if we can get better with Tackling we have a chance at winning this Georgia game?"

Screener put me through to Chris on Rivals Raido, Hell I don't even know his last name, nor do I give a rat's ass his last name, I served 22 years as an Airborne Ranger, I feel He should be calling me,

I wait 48 MINUTES on the phone for me to ask the SAME EXACT Question to this Chris what ever.

Chris: Welcome Tennessee Fan from Georgia... What's your question.

ME: Chris.. SAME Question as I said to the screener.

Chris: Tennessee has enough problems to be thinking about Georgia, I'm not even going to answer that.

You think Peyton will be coaching at UT in ten years??? Seriously.

Only if he learns how to beat the Gators :p Seriously? He might be one of the best coaches ever but let's wait & see. Never coached a game in his life. Although you have to love the fact that when you ask the Colts offensive coaching staff "do you give Peyton an exact play to call?" Tom's response is "we give him a general idea of what we would like the next series of plays to look like". He seems to have done reasonably well with the 'offensive strategy' side of things in the NFL over the past few years....................

I think I'd be calling back, waiting another 48 minutes just to laugh in his face. What a jacka$$!

One thing that stands out to me is his willingness to teach his new receivers/runningback etc. the offense and other things. He seems like a real teacher.

He's a great guy. He's loved by everybody. He would be a great recruiter. He's got some pretty good commercials. He seems like a pretty good option in my book!

OH HELL Yes!!!

I called them last SUNDAY as well, after Florida had lost, so that means I can call them tomorrow.

Tune in tomorrow to Rivals radio so I can call Chris a JACKA$$!

It doesn't seem like the coaches today were all-stars for the most part in their day. If I were Manning I'd go into broadcasting. He'll make more and be able to enjoy his retirement.

If we ever become a good football team again that competes in big games we'll get all the attention we need.

Going 12-9 at home against the SEC over the last 5 seasons doesn't deserve a tremendous amount of media saturation.

We've gotten plenty of attention today, and if we continue to win then we will get plenty more.

That's exactly right.
