Wish I was that optimistic.

I see a close game up until the fourth, where the D falls off a little and UF takes advantage.

I call BS!!! Coach Mac has our boys ready to play 60 minutes of hard nosed, smashmouth football!!!

How can anyone here honestly be surprised by these predictions?

Florida has beaten UT the last 4 years by an average of more than 3 touchdowns.

It is not disrespect, when respect has yet to be deserved. We have a much better chance this year than we have in a long time. Most all of the key figures in the even recent history have gone elsewhere, but culture of inferiority to UF has to change first.

It will most definitely be an interesting game.

I predict a Florida victory. I feel their speed around the edges on offense will be a little too much on our inexperienced LB corps.

But, then again, I thought Cincinnati was going to win, so what do I know?

One should not be surprised by the predictions, but this has little if anything to do with the history of the series. The predictions are not surprising because the members of the panel are not picking with the line, which at last check was UF -9. One is not particularly bold when picking an almost double digit home favorite to win straight up. What is surprising to me is that the Vols are getting 9 in Vegas as well as the bravado with which many (on this site) are predicting a Vols romp. Let's hope we have results similar to last week: Vegas wrong, Vols right! Go get em boys!!!

none of these guys want to take a chance with their picks. fl is the safe pick because they were the better team last year and they are playing at home. if you forget about last year and just look at each teams first two games, I like tn. but until we win a few of these games everyone will always pick against us. i really like our chances this year and think we'll win this game convincingly but who knows. it could come down to which team gets the lucky bounces. either way, fl as a 9 point favorite is a joke.

All we can do is go in there and play our a$$e$ off. Keep the turnovers as low as possible and the penalties to a bare minimum. Know your d@%# assignments and dont get caught with your head stuffed where the sun doesnt shine, and we should be heading north 3-0! GBO!

I see a close game until late in the 4th quarter, then one of our running backs fumbles and a Gator d.b. runs the ball back 70 yards for a 5 point victory.
We can and will play them close and they won't out coach us but I just don't seem to think we will be mistake free. Fumble, interception, penalties or missed assignments on special teams will get us at some point in the game.
We have come a long way but until we win the close games, I still have a little doudt. Sorta like glancing at the winning lottery ticket and you have to look again to do a double take.
We won/lost the close LSU game last season. We lost the Bama game in 2009 by having the field goal blocked. I only remember the UAB game as being a close game that we won in recent history.

That could happen. I have been thinking either a 34-17 loss if Bray spends the afternoon eating grass, or a 31-27 victory if he spends the day well-protected and burning the Gators.

We're going to score on every possession. All we need is one stop and good special teams.

The guys on css are retards. They can barely read. Every show on css looks like it was taped in somebodys house and they are just making stuff up as they go.

Young and thin.....very scary when you're team is going into The Swamp.....even if the gators are down.....they still have some good athletes

the gators. css 's panel of so called experts, picks florida. barnhart, ackerman, neal and slayball (my nickname for him) all pick the gators big. barnhart, probably the best predictor on the panel, says the game will be close till the 2nd half, and then the small defensive line of the vols will wear down. i don't agree, do you ?

Vols offense dominates TOP and gives our d some rest. Vols by 10
