Media Already Talking TN

The way Dobbs have been playing that game in Norman would been a lot differ. Been a lot closer. If our key guys are healthy and everyone gets better, we have a great chance winning in knoxville

We have one running back coming back next year in Hurd, kamara on board but no one else yet. If we don't get more running backs we could be in trouble next season. One injury and we are in trouble. Hoping for Bussey to stay committed and another running back commit.

Yeah don't know if it's a good or bad thing honestly. If we get 8 or 9 wins like I expect then the hype leading into 2016 and the Battle at Bristol will be ridiculous. We wouldn't lose many if any key players after next season.

I find it funny.. Bama loses and now Finebum wants to talk Tennessee.

The media can see what CBJ is doing and they know we are the team to watch out for.

We are not there yet, but the escalator is going up and UT is on it.

I'm just glad this staff will finally have to face expectations for once. No more Year Zeroes.

You, Oregonvol and 92volalum should get an apartment together. You guys could sit around bad mouthing Butch and Co. all day long.

It'd be just like Three's Company......you guys would have to figure out which two would be the girls and who would be the..... jack

Finebaum casting out the bait hoping to land a Tennessee Phylis.

Oh no! Sad thing is he'll probably find one.

Knowing our luck, we'll have more heisman runner up contenders than actual heisman winners

They wouldn't even give Peyton a Heisman so nothing would surprise me there.

Finebaum said today on air that he was a bama grad, I thought he was a UT grad?

I think that was some kind of inside joke.

I agree and not just about the running back position. We need to have our key position players stacked deeper on the roster.

Doesn't matter that they didn't say it. Trying to play Worley 2 years in a row for a whole season just to redshirt Dobbs was a Year Zero act.

Couldn't be that Dobbs looked awful in practice, could it? You must still be upset that your favorite oc lost.

Sometimes I truthfully think they cry when we do well because then they are forced to search for things to complain about.

Like this ^^^ I mean really? Worley was warrior who clawed and fought with everything he had.. The man actually bled for Tennessee. And these yahoo's come up with comments like this sitting safely behind their keyboards. To try and find something, anything at all they can be negative about.

It truly amazes me that they can talk like this about players who give their all for UT and still call themselves fans.

I'm just glad Derek Doofus burned Worley's redshirt. Otherwise, this staff would trot him out again and turn 2015 into Year Zero III.

The slurpfest regarding Kiffin is beyond puzzling to me. He's already proven that he's not head coaching material and he's extremely overrated as an OC. However, I think he would be a fine QB coach somewhere.

You're kidding yourself if you think Butch was holding out on playing Dobbs simply to have an excuse for lack of success. No one becomes a head coach at a major college program, let alone at one of the most successful of all time, with a mindset like that.

When you know your O-line is terrible, it's not a good idea to put in a young, green QB who is going to be playing a big part of the team in the future. Being thrust into that position too early has ruined kids in the past (in general, not necessarily at UT). Trying to redshirt Dobbs was the right move, it just wasn't in the cards. Thankfully, the O-line improved enough for Dobbs to have success when Worley got injured.

Cancer: /kanser/ - noun - a practice or phenomenon perceived to be evil or destructive and hard to contain or eradicate.

Sorry if I tickled your feelies, but the word fits...

No it doesn't. Paul Finebaum is no cookie-cutter sports analyst and has his own style. Some of us appreciate and respect it; some don't.
