Titans are on the clock...

Both Bowe and Meachem are still available.. personally I think the Titans need a big play receiver and Bowe doesn't seem as explosive to me as Meachem did this year... Bowe is big and physical but I think Meach had a lot more big breakout plays...

Anyone know which way the Titans have them rated?

We could also see a CB come off or even a trade with the Browns but I doubt it..

I'll be disappointed to see Bowe in a Titans jersey... but thank goodness Miami took Ted Ginn Jr! It would have been a nightmare to watch that guy play for the Titans... I don't know, I just haven't liked or been impressed by Ginn. Bowe or a CB would be pretty good but Meachem would be a dream come true.

Very disappointing... a safety... we just got Chris Hope.. why not get a CB atleast..

What a joke ... there were 3 great WRs left and we go with a safety...

I don't think its horrible either... but the Titans had two or even 3 waay greater needs... CB, WR, and RB...

If they think Mike Williams will come and fix the WR problem then I don't know what they are thinking.

Plus I really don't want to see Meachem go to Dallas... although he probably wants to go there since its close to home. :dunno:

Hmm... where could he go? Philly or Carolina maybe? I will be really ticked off if he falls down into the 2nd round..

Also... Bud Adams is a big Texas guy isn't he...

I'm sure that's why we overlooked Meachem or Bowe or even a CB and took the #2 safety on the board who was from the University of Texas... He's starting to fill up the Titans roster with Longhorn players in my opinion but that may just be me :crazy:

this isn't a bad pick for us at all. This guy is a playmaker. He can play safety or corner, 2 huge needs, and this is a very WR deep draft, not to mention we picked up a former 1st round pick in Mike Williams this morning in a trade who has been in a terrible system and will be reunited with his college coordinator.

You guys act like we only get 1 pick in the draft.....geeze.

Go Titans!

and Mike Williams is about 1 buffet short of being out of the league

Mike Williams is a flop obviously otherwise we wouldn't have gotten him.. then again, a change of scenery could be what he needed. We all know the Lions and Cardinals are famous for drafting awesome receivers and not using them to their potential.

It's an average pick in my opinion.. if he can play CB thats good but I highly doubt they'll put him there... it's hard for a CB to come in and play in the NFL, making it even harder if he's learning to play safety too.. I just think Reggie Nelson was the best safety available..

If it were me I would have picked a WR/CB then a safety.. hopefully a big play receiver will be left for our next pick which is around 50 I think. If the Bengals hadn't snatched that one CB right before us it would have been a huge steal for us.

So it looks like Meachem to Philadelphia. Hopefully... Edit: NM, philly just traded to Dallas, ugh I don't want Meachem to go there..
