The list of schools in pursuit of top-25 overall prospect Anthony Sweeney is a long one. Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas A&M and LSU are among that group, with the Tigers joining the fray after hiring Sterling Lucas.
Sweeney ‘definitely’ plans to attend Tennessee’s junior day, and says the Vols and Crimson Tide are leading the way.

Tennessee made nice impressions on elite EDGE prospects Anthony Sweeney and Mekai Brown. Both had plenty of positives to say about LEOs coach Andrew Jackson and the relationships they have built with him.
Those close to Sweeney have told us the Vols are very much in the mix for him and he thinks highly of Tennessee. Tennessee will look to get both back on campus for official visits.
