Is it honestly even that noticeable after the initial shock? By my math on an iPhone 6/7 it takes up a sliver of the screen - roughly 1/15th.

I bet if it was a pic of a girl laying on the beach in a bikini you guys wouldn't complain. 😎

Maybe that's the solution: Victoria's Secret ads. Lol.

Just noticed the hide button takes about 5 or 6 seconds to become active after switching pages in the forum, atleast it's working now.

While your in here, you must have one hell of a cough as long as the Delsym cough syrup ad as been up. Maybe try some hot tea and honey with lemon.

It'd be nice if it popped up one time per visit and you didn't have to hide it multiple times

It's actually popping straight back up after clicking hide today.

Also, after replying or starting a new thread when the keyboard is up the ad is covering up the "submit" and "attach" buttons.

I'm beginning to hate McDonalds. Advertising is one thing. Pest-vertising is another.

Please get rid of the pop ups that block viewing

Yes, that's driving me nuts. Every new thread, every time. And as others mentioned, the hide button isn't live at first.

It's incredibly distracting, and it really does hide a lot of real estate.

Maybe if it only pops up when the user changes forums?

Holy mother of Ronald. If I buy a cup of coffee and a Mcfawkinrib sammich, will it stop this damn pop up?

Well, it all makes sense now.

Sorry, guess I should've thought to come here first.

It seems that mostly Trump voters are being harassed by this ad. If you buy a coffee at McDonald's it will automatically opt you out of this harassment.

The McD's ads have been annoying. I now have ads at the top and bottom of my phone's screen. Honestly though, I would rather deal with the ads than pay to be on Volnation. Thanks for keeping it free up in here Freak.

I completely agree. I understand the need to generate revenue for the site, but the ad placement is so much more annoying than the banner ad. Plus the fact the its animated is distracting to say it politely

It is annoying, but not nearly as bad as one of the political ads earlier this month that would automatically scroll my page to the bottom where I had to look at the ad.
