I thought he was deemed eligible earlier in the semester. Anyone have any insight on this for me?

doesn't really hurt us if he doesn't get eligible this year, we're deep at that position and he needs to put on weight anyway

Probably was at Pearl's house. We don't want to forfeit games he plays in the year if that is the case.

Probably a case of restitution being made for the food served at the cookout at Pearl's house and possibly a pro-rated amount for the few extra hours of stay at Knoxville Marriott during his official visit.

Not a big deal. Nothing in terms of academic eligibility, so it should be fairly cut and dry. Expect him back soon.

Can he still practice or be limited or have to sit out til cleared

He's been ineligible since UT self-reported the violations in September. He's practicing anyway.

This is actually standard procedure. When you self-report secondary violations, you declare the athlete in question ineligible, and you appeal for the NCAA to reinstate them. It never makes the news, because the secondary violations never make the news and the players always get reinstated.
