McCoy & Sanders?

Wouldn't be surprised if Sanders doesn't come back until after the bye. When he comes back you will essentially have 3 new lineman because Moe and Perry will both be moving. Having the bye week will help that transition. Perry is a beast, right now Sham is the weak link. If Sanders is all he is hyped to be, Heard,Moe,Pendleton,Perry and Sanders may be the best O-line in the SEC. The offense is set for the rest of the season. If they can score 41 on UGA D then they can keep UT in every game. Wish UT had Texas instead of OU this year, they are a mess right now. UT would blow them out.

Isn't Moi a DT? Seems like a pretty big move

Sham has had some rough reps but he's not awful. The rotation with Perry moving inside could cover that up a lot. The bye week should let them lock in the best five

I'm not knocking Sham, he is pretty good. He just had a tough one against UGA. They do have some hosses at DT though.

My thought - If Sanders is not back by mid year, we likely don’t see him play this year. Maybe he plays a little to protect his redshirt, but not enough to make much of a difference.

McCoy won’t return. Gibson is out for the season.

Redmond will grow and get better.

Our season won’t be impacted much if Sanders doesn’t play. The loss of McCoy and Gibson is HUGE. If Redmond progresses quickly . . . And our younger linebackers improve . . . And we get Moi and Hobbs back . . . We could make the CFP.

We are hosed of late with the injury bug.
With McCoy and Gibson, I think we would have beaten Georgia handily

You may be correct it looked like Bobo's mod of operation was to throw it deep a lot and get the PI on a talented freshman but not ready for the big stage yet. I actually think they were surprised when their QB actually connected on the 4th & 6 TD (I think that play was designed for a PI) the UGA receiver did push off but Herbie did say he would allow that. o_O

Will McCoy be a lock down corner after missing spring practice, summer practice and fall practice? I don't expect him to be ready to play for a while even if he is released. The corners we have will improve as the season progresses.

Exactly right! Hard to imagine him being close to 100% even if he's cleared. Remember several years ago when Justin Hunter (WR) came back after his knee surgery? He wasn't close to the all-american we were hoping to get back.

Our season might be okay without Sanders, but have another injury up front... especially at OT and I suspect we will have it impact this season significantly.

If Redmond can learn to play with the ball in the air he will be an upgrade from Gibson in my opinion. We need Boo and someone else to step up at star so we have the flexibility to move McMurray outside if needed too

I’m saying his family thought he would be back by ETSU. I’m wondering when he will actually be back? I said we missed him for UGA. What’s so confusing lol
His family likely isn't going to tell a random fan that he might not make it back until late in the season. It doesn't benefit the team for that information to be out there. The family did what they were supposed to do tell you he would be back soon.

I’m a VFL though

Three pages and we know nothing. Gibson may or may not be out for year. Hobbs? Moi?
McCoy may or may not play this year.
