Horse hockey. He got lucky. You dont become the most winningst Qb in the country and not know the rules. He got lucky after he damn near pissed away his cry baby legacy. The media darlings have already started to pump sunshine for all to see.

This is what you get Vol fans, when you support the sissies in Austin. A bunch of media darling, "I fish with so and so, he's my room mate, we're best friends" blah blah blah. Im looking forward to seeing the bubbas at Alabama beat the ever living crap out the whole lot of em.

then what Droski? I mean, did you doubt for one second they werent gonna get their chance?

And before I continue, I'll go ahead and say, there should have been time left. The right call was made.
Im just pointing out the arrogance and BS that comes outta every Austin product.

"We're the greatest come from behind team in the country." - Mack Brown.

Prove it. - Nick Saban.

He's the luckiest guy in America right now.

They made the right call in putting the second back on the clock, but McCoy doesn't get any credit for that. He had his head up his arse with his team's whole season on the line.

I was well beyond an 18 pack at that juncture, but the rule stood correct.

You want irony? Suh was chasing that little puke when he chunked it. The "what if" in that scenario will live on forever.

furthermore, Suh tried like hell to make Cart a permenant peice of lawn decoration in Jerry World throughout the entire game.

if the clock stopped at 4:43 on a play and an extra second had ticked off, should they reset it to 4:44? what's the difference... where in the rule book does it say that under 10 seconds the rules are different... I don't want to see the bammers win another one, but I would love to see tx get a mudhole stomped in them after that call...

This time only stands out because it was the end of the game. I've seen clock disparities throughout the year from one play to the next, indicating we don't normally hear about it during the broadcast.

I really don't care one way or the other, I think its funny he wasn't more aware. However, did anyone else notice how quickly the anchors had the replay up with the two clocks and all (which happens to be the same clip you've now seen 1200 times). I'm not wearing a tin hat or anything, but I thought it a little strange how prepared they were for this scenario. I know they're prepared for lots of different things as to keep the broadcast professional, but how often does this particular scenario happen? I can't remember it ever happening like this.Watching it live I just got the wierd feeling that the anchor/play by play guys had prior knowledge of how it would play out. Add in the Nebraska kickoff out of bounds and we've got a full blown conspiracy theory.

Kinda funny how McCoy's story keeps changing every time I hear him talk about what happened.

Oh well. He, Mack Brown, Texas fans and everybody else knows deep down that they simply lost track of time and nearly Les Miles'd the Big XII title.

I'm moving on.

to the MOD that cleaned up my language, my apologies. I'll avoid letting that slip again.

Had that second not been put back on the clock, he maybe goes down as the most overrated goat in CFB history. He would have been the winningest QB ever, with no titles to show for it.

First thing I thought when the ref announced the review was: what's the validation that the camera on the clock and the camera following the play are synched up in time? I still want that answered.
