McCoy and Gibson…

If neither come back this year, then we will have to roll with what we’ve got. Redmond has a lot of upside and talent. He was playing in his third game as a college freshman against a top 5 opponent. He will not be the same player in October as he was yesterday. The question is how much better will he be.

Hobbs hope for Mississippi State
McCoy hope for Alabama but lot of chatter his advisors are pushing him to stay out and just prepare for the draft. No decision regarding that yet.
And that sounds about right in today's world of NIL and advisors.

Im just going to say it. I don't care anymore. The glass bothers better be ready. 1 of them as t least and get a W against Bama at their house e. If not, try to get one in Florida and I will hate both of u less for eating taco bell and McDonald's all season having these injuries. U want more money? I want more results.

I'd be shocked if he returns. If he weren't expected to go so high in the draft, he likely would return, but given his situation, I think the advisors win out. I'm starting to think Sanders also doesn't risk anything and remains on the sidelines as well. I expect all these NFL caliber players will choose not to take the field unless they are absolutely, positively 100%. Back in the day, there was "hurt" and "injured". Players would play hurt. Not anymore. The prize is the NFL and money. They can sit and heal and still get paid in college with the situation as it currently stands. Coaches put 'em in bubble wrap and they still get hurt. They thud in practice and no one goes to the ground anymore, but nothing seems to work. With the portal and NIL, teams can't acquire and build depth either so the season can go up in flames with a key injury or two. What we've gone and done to this sport is just crazy.

I know negativity is your shtick, but Sanders isn't going to sit out 3 years and get drafted.

I am on the fence with McCoy. I can see the concern if he isn't 100% healthy of not wanting to play and hurting his draft stock or possibly reinjuring himself but I also see the side of playing for his team.

I think we get Hobbs back for Mississippi State (hopefully) and Moi back by Alabama.

McCoy won’t play this year.

Redmond will get better.

Spillman willxpaky more at linebacker.

After looking back at the UGA game . . . I am convinced this offense is legit and has opposites to be even better. They will score on anyone / everyone.

Our season will come down to getting healthy and staying healthy on the dline . . . And seeing improvement in our young corners and linebackers. If those guys can progress quickly . . . We are a CFP team no one would want to play.

Side note - as bad as Florida is this year, their defense is really good.

If McCoy is 100% and decides to play . . . We are a legit CFP team with a chance to beat anyone other than Ohio State.
